It’s a bit late for this post, but I still felt compelled to do it:
2012 was amazing, and not only business wise: I have done about 170 live-shows plus 16 or so studio projects, but I’ve also been able to work with a couple of great and dedicated people, and that is very important to me.
So thanks to all my partners for trusting in my work & to all the friends I’ve met along the way – Let’s bring this forward, together!
I’ve been wrapping up quite a bunch of things over december, did a bunch of gigs w/ Abraham, etc., and celebrated the last show of the year in style with a good bunch of cultural heroes and friends @ the We Said-Show at Fri-Son.
January 2013 so far had me doing some editing/tracking on the upcoming Dramaqueen-album, tacking drums/reamping for Kruger’s upcoming 7″, mastering The Fawn’s new project, and working on Algebra’s upcoming live-album.
This friday will bring this year’s first big event for me, OMFG! Double Crème.
I’m having a bunch of great bands (Uneven Structure, Oral Fistfuck, Elizabeth, Vuyvr, etc.) over at Fri-Son on two stages, plus Calofror Records will sell some nice records, and DJ I.N.I will take care of proper aftershow sounds, so all in all this looks pretty promising – Looking forward to this!
The day after I’m running the board for Science Of Disorder and Arkhan @ Ebull/Bulle, and then finally sunday & monday will bring a residency at the same club for the mighty and chaotic Cortez.
And to look even a bit further down the agenda: I’ll run the board for Abraham supporting Cult Of Luna on a few shows, take care of Coilguns on their upcoming EU-Tour, hit the UK w/ Zatokrev, and then later on work with The Ocean and Lo! for their support slots on the 2nd leg of the Cult Of Luna-Tour – plus a couple of additional tours are already in the works!
Stoked to get this stuff on!
